Helping Burlington Before and During a Disaster
The Burlington Emergency Management Department provides coordination of resources and services to protect the life and property of Burlington residents in the event of a disaster or crisis. Our goal is two-fold. First, we prepare for a disaster or crisis through documenting procedures, drills and providing public education. In the event of a disaster or crisis, we coordinate with local, state and federal agencies to ensure critical services and resources are available to assist our residents.
And always remember, IN AN EMERGENCY… DIAL 911!!!

People With Disabilities - Help us help you!
The Burlington Emergency Management Department is establishing a database of locations within the town where there are people with disabilities in an effort to improve our response in the event of a disaster or crisis. By letting us know now that there are people with disabilities in a residence, office or other commercial building, that person’s requirements can be planned for in advance of an incident.
Please download the Residents With Disabilities questionnaire form, fill out and mail to the address on the form.
