Helping To Keep Your Building Projects On Track

The Town of Burlington Land Use Office is here to assist you with all your building plans.  Working with the Building Official will help you to understand code regulations and will issue all the permits you need throughout the process including:

• Building
• Electrical
• Mechanical
• Plumbing
• Pool & Hot Tub

Permits are $10.26 per $1,000 of estimated labor and material costs.  Please always round up to nearest 1,000 to get correct amount.

We will also assist you by pulling records on all inspections, permits, plot plans and most house records.  Whatever your next project is, all forms needed can be obtained from the Land Use Office at the Town Hall.  The most important thing to remember?  Get a building permit before you start!  It's the law.
